Cutting Edge Digital Painting Exhibit by
Sarasota Artist Opens
Sarasota, Florida, March 15, 2002 Local Artist/Musician Thom Williams
will have a new high tech solo art exhibit at the Fruitville
Library, 100 Coburn Road, throughout the month of April 2002,
with a reception open to the public on April 5th, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m.
Thom (aka "DigArtz"), an established Sarasota graphic
artist, uses various New Media & Techniques to produce a highly
sophisticated level of digital paintings that reflect a depth of
color and texture not seen in digital paintings elsewhere. With
his extensive background in traditional painting & graphic arts,
Thom has over the course of 10 years developed a rare "painterly"
effect in digital media. The "Pixelized"
exhibit is based on original digital photography, which include
topics of Florida wildlife & landscapes. His unique creative
vision and style allow us to see our own world through his work
in a way that renews the miracle that life truly is. Additionally,
Thom has developed a variety of other subjects, such as digital
abstracts which open up entirely new vistas for the imagination.
Detailed information about the Artist and
his exhibit may be obtained from his web site http://digartz.com/exhibit,
with full permission granted to the media for publication.
All media representatives (as well as the public) are invited to
